Jones Ranch Coffee Company is a direct-trade specialty coffee roaster committed to sourcing exceptional coffees directly from producers around the world. We are not a commodity buyer. We build long-term partnerships with farms and cooperatives whose coffees demonstrate outstanding quality, terroir expression, and production integrity.
We look for producers who share our commitment to transparency, quality improvement, and sustainable farm practices. Our sourcing relationships prioritize direct payment, honest communication, and shared traceability.
Direct trade at JRCC means we purchase coffee directly from the producer or a minimal-step exporter, bypassing unnecessary intermediaries. This allows us to offer above-market pricing, negotiate lot-specific contracts, and build year-over-year relationships with farms we trust.
We prioritize producers who are willing to engage in detailed lot documentation, quality feedback, and multi-harvest commitments. Our direct trade partnerships are not transactional — they are collaborative, evolving relationships built on mutual investment in quality and sustainability.
RanchTrace™ is our proprietary supply chain traceability system, built into every JRCC coffee. When a customer scans the QR code on their bag, they are taken to a digital origin page that tells the story of that specific lot — including the producer, farm elevation, harvest details, processing method, varietal, and cupping notes.
As a JRCC producer partner, you are invited to contribute to RanchTrace through lot-level data submission. Your story reaches our customers directly, creating a meaningful connection between the farm and the cup.
We evaluate all producer applications against a consistent set of criteria: cup quality (minimum 84+ SCA), production capacity, direct trade readiness, traceability commitment, and long-term supply potential. We accept producers from all major coffee-producing regions.
The intake process is designed to be thorough but transparent. You will always know where your application stands, and our team is available to answer questions at any stage of the process.

Our sourcing team evaluates your application against our quality benchmarks, direct trade criteria, and origin focus areas.
Accepted producers ship coffee samples to our facility. Sample shipment details are managed through your producer portal.
Samples are evaluated blind by our Q-graded cupping team. We assess flavor profile, consistency, and specialty potential.
JRCC may conduct a virtual or in-person farm visit to verify production practices, elevation, and traceability readiness.
Producers who meet our standards receive a sourcing partnership offer with transparent pricing and direct trade terms.
